So I had an opportunity to visit the blette/makemynotebook lab this week and well I was  blown away by all the hobbits down there crafting some super cool silkscreened pads. Notebooks seem so generic now days and Sara has really created a unique operation that gives a splash of style and personality to that note taking device.

March Spire Madness. As the spring begins a new offering from the Spire Sales Center is growing interest in the Urban Dwellers or want to be urbanites of Colorado. Crossing many demographics the options from chic sophisticated to young and hip taste buds are being sampled. Pick one today, I am trying to find every penny available to try and buy a unit looking west.

So in all the design efforts for the Spire Sales Center a rising star pulled together a fabulous mix media duo of the urban city skyline. I have had numerous people inquire about the work so I thought it would only be appropriate to blog Shawn English's contact information and bring some attention to the designer. His work rocks.

Larkburger

So on our way down to the Spire friends and family get together this week a group of CA folks stopped to check out the new burger offering in Boulder called Larkburger. The design, food and concept felt right on the mark for the new generation of fast casual food offerings and hopefully we will see more options on the market from food to clothing to everything more sustainable. NO more trash please. The ownership of Larkburger styled us on our first order and I personally will be back with the family in tow to frequent the place. Dezeen

Adding another resource for cool interior design from around the globe.  Dezeen.com caught my eye while researching for a water fountain for another project and this popped up in the goggle images. The web is littered with design junk, but this site had a collection of great projects and resources. Check it out. The image is of the Dutch architect  Merkx + Girod FAST food pasta project. way cool.

Blue Car

Not to say this is the future, but it is really cool to see the new direction of vehicles from around the globe are cool looking. Probably not the machismo guys will need for the track, but could be awesome for the urban drive to pick up the grocery's and or head to the beach. Check out the slide show.

What a night! The Opening went off with all the bells and whistles to be expected and with a collaboration of design efforts and the folks from the Nichol's Partnership to super attractive and friendly Sales team the event was a huge success in the eye's of the lemonade stand. Chris Crosby here show's off the Beaux-Arts 2009 version of the hat as building the Randy donned on him during the speech's. RNL has done a smashing job on the building and JeDunn is pouring the molds to the 1/100th of an inch. "sweet"
