Slate Plates

My seven year old documented the production of 50 slate plates. Handcrafted always makes for better than store bought from china and adds the story telling component. Although mined in Brazil and shipped to the US it feels crafted and integrated into the project lending for a beautiful connection. It was also fun to work on and gratifying to get my hands dirty.

Over the labor day weekend studioLEMONADE was winterizing the facilities and needed to add on a dog house in preparation for the cold winter days ahead. Using scrap lumber from a construction site and left over materials from the window trim the only purchase was insulation and the dog door. Fun little design and construction project.

Trying to be good stewards to the environment and keep as much packing materials out of the Landfill the studioLEMONADE team is packing the truck full of styrofoam from the restroom mirrors that came from Brocade Home and Chandeliers from Horchow and recycling with Ecocycle.

Chocolove Soft Opening

I was really hoping to have more images of the soft opening last Saturday, but last week was impossible to catch up and get over to the project and photograph the final project. I will this week and get the design posted. Great group of folks over at Chocolove and I hope they like the new building and day lit spaces.
